Yes — when medically supervised, LCHF can significantly improve blood sugar control, reduce insulin resistance, and lower blood pressure. Many clients even reduce or eliminate medications under guidance.

Not necessarily. When carbs are reduced, the body uses fat more efficiently for energy. Many people experience weight loss and improved lipid profiles (especially higher HDL and lower triglycerides).

You can enjoy whole, unprocessed foods like eggs, meat, fish, paneer, healthy oils (coconut, olive, ghee), nuts, seeds, low-carb vegetables, and limited fruits. Processed carbs, sugars, and seed oils are avoided.
